经教育部批准，2019年8月18日，北京师范大学将举办国际学术会议：“‘一带一路’2019学术出版论坛：连通中西”，会议由北师大新闻传播学院、出版科学与文化研究中心及牛津国际出版研究中心承办。这是我院成立以来举办的首次国际学术会议，也是北京师范大学举办的首次出版国际学术会议。习近平总书记指出“文明因多样而交流，因交流而互鉴，因互鉴而发展” 。当下，世界学术出版不断交流、交互。如何更好地连通中西，让东西方学术出版在新形势下获得新生长和新发展，是全球出版学界与业界共同关注的重要课题。

 

一、会议背景

      中国是人类出版的母国之一，中国四大发明有两项属于出版科学，一为出版载体“造纸术”，一为出版技术“印刷术”，其对人类文化发展和文明进步的推动作用无论怎样高估都不为过。而中国造纸术和印刷术就是通过“一带一路”传遍世界、造福人类的。探讨“一带一路”与学术出版及文化传播的关系，历史与现实意义双重突出。

      《中外出版原著选读》（中国卷、外国卷），万安伦主编，北京师范大学出版集团出版。本书为全球首部出版原著选读。按“出版思想”“出版载体”“出版符号”“出版技术”“出版活动及成就”“出版制度及版权”六大出版要素选取古往今来中国原著88篇、外国原著52篇，并加导读和阐释。

"The Belt and Road" Academic Publishing symposium: Bridging the East and West

Approved by the Ministry of Education, Beijing Normal University will hold an international academic symposium on 18th August, 2019: " ‘The Belt and Road’ Academic Publishing symposium: Bridging the East and West", which will be organized by the school of Journalism and Communication of Beijing Normal University and Oxford International Publishing Center. This is the first international academic conference held by our school and the first Publishing international academic conference held by Beijing normal university. As general secretary xi jinping has pointed out, "civilizations exchange through diversity, learn from each other through exchanges, and develop through mutual learning." At present, the world's academic publishing has been communicating between different countries. How to bridge China and the west, and make more achievements in academic publishing area between the East and West --has been an important issue recently.

1．Background

China is an important origin of human publishing. Two of Four Inventions -- Publishing Material 'Paper Making' and Publishing Technology 'Printing'-- in ancient China were outcomes of publishing activities. And they pushed the world civilization forward through 'the Belt and Road'.
